You will be a vital player in the initial phase of our most important projects, transforming complex plans into winning bids. As a Pre-Construction Specialist, you will be the engine room of our estimating department, responsible for the detailed analysis that precedes every bid. Conduct thorough plan comparisons to identify changes and updates between drawing versions, ensuring bids are always accurate. Assist the estimating team by loading material takeoffs and quotes into our estimating software. Build and maintain relationships by obtaining material and subcontractor quotes from various vendors. Finalize and complete estimates under the supervision of experienced estimators. Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Must have strong computer skills including MS Office, Adobe, and Outlook. Problem Solver: Resourceful, enjoys finding solutions, and can think on feet. Highly Organized: Masterfully multitask and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment without missing a detail. Strong Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe, and Outlook. Driven and Eager to Learn: Desire to learn, grow, and take direction to build a successful career. 1+ year of recent experience in a similar role is preferred. Pre-Screen: Upon offer, employees may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check. License & Certifications: Driver's License preferred, but not required.
