General Manufacturing Part Inspection Job Description

Using specialized tools for measuring and testing equipment to measure, test and evaluate product reliability and outputs. Documenting findings by recording non‑compliance findings and providing actionable feedback for improvement. Collaborating with teams and other departments to enhance the overall quality and safety of the process. Preparation of reports, inspection findings, documenting outcomes and some filing. Multitasking, attention to detail and accuracy is a must. Experience with quality standards, expectations and understanding of calibrated equipment. Experience with measurement tools including scales, gages and micrometers. Basic knowledge of technical drawings and prints. Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. Must be able to handle very small parts sometimes measuring less than 1 mm. Opportunity to learn and grow into other areas of operations.
