Drivers will deliver palletized food to grocery stores using 53-foot refrigerated trailers. This is a temporary-to-permanent, on-site opportunity with a pay rate of $35 per hour. Pay & Schedule Pay Rate: $35 per hour Hours: 40 hours per week Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday Start Time: Between 11:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. Overtime: Available after 40 hours Employment Type: Temp to perm Job Details Route Type: Local Freight: Palletized food Equipment: 53-foot refrigerated trailers and automatic Freightliner trucks Handling: Heavy touch freight; drivers load and unload using an electric pallet jack Workday: Approximately 10 hours with multiple stops Delivery Area: New England and New York Key Responsibilities Operate a CDL A vehicle safely and professionally on local routes. Deliver palletized food to grocery stores. Load and unload freight using an electric pallet jack. Complete multiple deliveries in a timely and safe manner. Maintain compliance with applicable transportation regulations and safety standards. Minimum Requirements Valid CDL A license. 1 year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience. Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years. Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements. Ability to safely handle heavy touch freight and operate an electric pallet jack.
