Safety Engineer- Level 2

Overview Home of the F-35 Lightning II located at Lockheed Aeronautics Fort Worth, Texas, the position supports the Airforce Plant 4 Facilities and Maintenance teams. The role involves analyzing critical risks, developing specifications for new equipment, and managing safety and health programs. The selected candidate will interface with area leadership, support Director metric reviews, lead incident investigations, and support ISO 45001:2018 continuous improvement. Responsibilities Analyze critical risks and develop specifications for new equipment. Manage safety and health programs such as machinery guarding and electrical safety for compliance. Interface with area leadership and support Director metric reviews. Lead incident investigations. Support ISO 45001:2018 and foster continuous improvement. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering or related discipline. Experience with OSHA, accident investigation, root cause analysis, and incident management. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and be flexible to changing environment. Experience in heavy manufacturing or aerospace industry. Experience working in a represented employee environment. Familiarity with ISO 45001:2018. Additional Information Clearance Level: None. Experience Level: Experienced Professional.
