The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating powered industrial trucks (forklifts) to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count materials. This role ensures the efficient handling of products while maintaining safety standards and supporting warehouse operations.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and storage areas.
• Transport materials throughout the warehouse or job site as needed.
• Stack and store products in designated locations according to inventory procedures.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with stock checks and cycle counts.
• Follow all safety guidelines, procedures, and company policies.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial environment.
• Basic math and inventory management skills.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Good hand-eye coordination and depth perception.
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Shift Available:

1. 1st shift: 7:30 am – 5:30 pm, Monday – Friday. Mandatory overtime may be required.

Pay Rate:

Up to $23.00 an hour
