This position is ideal for an experienced Movement Disorders specialist with a focus on continuing efforts in research and clinical trials. The role can provide protected time to pursue research and grant supported projects to further advance and identify outcomes and treatments in the field of Movement Disorders through the Research Department on the University of Reno, School of Medicine campus labs and facilities.The Movement Disorder Neurologist will help further the Movement Disorder program by accurately diagnosing movement disorders and develop comprehensive management plans and incorporate various therapeutic options including medications, injections, and deep brain stimulation. The Neurologist will collaborate with the Neuro Surgeon for DBS procedures for prospective patients and will provide programming , optimizing, long-term monitoring for DBS patients.
