Home Health Occupational Therapist
MLR is searching for a compassionate and talented Home Health Occupational Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide personalized, in-home therapy services designed to help patients regain their independence and improve their overall well-being. Working alongside patients and their families, you will create and implement customized therapy plans that address both physical and emotional challenges. This position provides flexibility, professional development, and a full range of employee benefits.
Key Responsibilities for Home Health Occupational Therapist:
- In-Home Assessments: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities in their home environment, tailoring therapy plans to each individual's needs.
- Therapeutic Program Development: Design and implement therapy strategies to enhance mobility, fine motor skills, self-care abilities, and daily living functions.
- Education & Training: Educate patients and their caregivers on exercises, adaptive tools, and techniques that support rehabilitation and promote greater independence at home.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for each patient.
- Accurate Documentation: Keep detailed records of patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes to ensure compliance with home health care guidelines.

Qualifications for Home Health Occupational Therapist:

- Experience: Prior experience in home health or outpatient therapy is preferred, though new graduates with solid clinical skills are welcome to apply.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent time management, and the ability to work autonomously in patients' homes.
