Location: Bessemer, AL Job Type: Contract Pay Rate: $18.75/hr Schedule: Friday–Monday, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional support to customers, business partners, and drivers. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities, resolving customer issues, and collaborating with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers and business partners via phone and email.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and effectively.
• Diagnose, assess, and resolve customer issues.
• Monitor delivery route progress and communicate updates as needed.
• Scan haul-away pods and verify required stamps.
• Process delivery order changes and cancellations.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, customers, business partners, and drivers.
• Maintain a high level of service while managing multiple priorities.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and/or MS Project.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to identify issues, determine appropriate solutions, and follow through to resolution.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Positive, accountable, team-oriented approach.
• Ability to remain calm and professional when handling customer concerns.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of related experience, preferably in a call center or customer service environment.
• Experience supporting customers in a high-volume environment.
• Experience with delivery, transportation, or logistics operations is a plus.
