We are client-facing from day one and building the internal engine that will define this category. This is a founding role. What you build here becomes the infrastructure of the company. The Role Agentik is early. There is no team to shadow, no playbook to inherit, and no backlog of systems waiting to be optimized. There is a founder, a methodology taking shape, and clients who need results now. The Generative AI Analyst is the first full-time hire — and not an accident of timing. This role exists because the work requires someone at a genuinely rare intersection: technically fluent enough to build AI-powered workflows, analytically sharp enough to extract signal from noise, and strategically minded enough to turn AEO and AI visibility data into decisions that move brands. Those qualities don't often live in the same person. When they do, it's the highest-leverage hire a marketing team can make. You will work alongside the founder to build and run the AI-powered infrastructure that delivers Agentik's momentum work — for clients and for the company itself. That means owning Profound end-to-end, designing and shipping agent workflows, monitoring how brands surface in AI-generated answers across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews, and translating what you find into content architecture and AEO strategy that actually changes outcomes. No one is handing you a roadmap. You're helping draw it. What gets built in the next 12 months becomes the architecture, the process, and the standard everything else runs on. What You'll Build AI Visibility & AEO Infrastructure Own the Profound platform end-to-end — Prompt Volumes, Answer Engine Insights, Agent Builder, Agent Analytics, and CMS publishing workflows Monitor brand presence, competitive positioning, and citation share-of-voice across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, and Google AI Overviews for Agentik and its clients Design and deploy AEO pipelines that improve how often clients surface in AI-generated answers — structured data, schema markup, JSON-LD, semantic content architecture, and entity clarity Build citation-monitoring agents that track AI citations in real time and surface patterns, gaps, and competitive threats automatically Translate Profound's Answer Engine Insights and Prompt Volume data into specific, prioritized content and optimization recommendations for client teams Agent Workflows & Automation Design Profound-based agent workflows using the drag-and-drop Agent Builder — leveraging pre-built templates (Content Refresh, AEO FAQ Generation, Competitive Research, Net-New Content) and building custom nodes where the work requires it Build automated research and reporting pipelines that collapse hours of manual analysis into structured, decision-ready outputs for the founder and for clients Develop competitive monitoring agents that track rival positioning in AI-generated answers in real time and surface updated messaging and talk tracks automatically Build and extend workflows with Claude Code where Profound's node library stops short — custom scripts, integrations, and automations that close the gap between what the platform does and what the work requires Wire Profound Agent Analytics into client reporting to connect AI crawler behavior, citation outcomes, and referral traffic into a coherent visibility picture Build client-facing AI visibility dashboards that make Agentik's methodology legible and defensible to CMO- and CEO-level audiences Develop review and social proof agents that identify advocates from usage data and conversations, then personalize outreach at scale Turn successful one-off builds into codified playbooks — the repeatable systems that become Agentik's proprietary methodology What We Need From You Non-Negotiables This role requires a specific combination: technical enough to build, analytical enough to interpret, and strategically minded enough to connect AI visibility to brand outcomes. Those qualities rarely live in the same person. 4+ years in a technical marketing, growth analytics, or marketing operations role that combined hands-on tool-building with strategic analysis — not just configuration or reporting Hands-on Profound experience — you have built agent workflows in Profound using the Agent Builder, not just looked at dashboards Deep fluency with AEO and GEO — you understand how AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews) retrieve, summarize, and cite content, and you have implemented strategies to influence that Hands-on Claude Code experience — you write and deploy code with Claude as a primary tool, not as a novelty Familiarity with structured data, schema markup, and JSON-LD — you understand how content architecture and entity signals affect AI citation frequency Builder's instinct — you default to 'I'll automate that' before 'I'll do that manually' Comfort with ambiguity — this company is in stealth; you will be making decisions without a full picture NYC-based or willing to be Strong Signal You live inside AI tools — multiple sessions running simultaneously, Profound open alongside Claude, is a normal Tuesday You have tracked AI citation performance across major platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot) and used that data to drive content and optimization decisions Experience with content architecture for AI discoverability — conversational formatting, answer-focused structure, FAQs, entity clarity, authoritative signals Familiarity with AI crawler behavior — how GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, and Gemini crawl and interpret content, and what technical changes affect that You run disciplined experiments — every workflow is a hypothesis, and you codify what works into repeatable systems Background in B2B/B2C marketing, management consulting, or strategic communications Experience with Clay, Zapier/Make, or similar GTM automation tools Experience working with CMS platforms and content-to-distribution pipelines (WordPress, Sanity, Contentful) You've worked at or with early-stage companies and know what 'founding team energy' actually means What This Is Not A role for someone who wants to manage a team of five before they've built anything A role for someone who needs a defined playbook before they start A role for someone who treats AI tools as a curiosity rather than primary infrastructure A role for someone whose experience with Profound is limited to reading reports rather than building in it Remote-optional for now — we are building in proximity What You Get Direct access to the founder and to senior client relationships from week one The chance to shape a proprietary methodology that could define a new consulting category Compensation commensurate with a founding hire — structure TBD based on conversation #J-18808-Ljbffr
