CNA - Pediatric Patient Care Tech

Position Summary The Patient Care Technician is a dynamic role within our health care system, covering nursing care, transportation of patients, and clerical functions to support exceptional patient health outcomes. The position requires a night shift, 12‑hour rotating weekend schedule, 0.75 FTE. Responsibilities Perform a dynamic range of duties and functions throughout the hospital Assist in basic nursing care, transportation of patients, and clerical functions Apply strong interpersonal skills when providing care for patients across diverse ethnic and social groups Collaborate with health care practitioners or registered nurses for comprehensive quality care Requirements High school graduate or equivalent preferred Medical Assistant‑Registered Certification eligible (must apply within 7 days of hire) Must obtain Medical Assistant‑Registered Certification within 60 days of hire Nursing Assistant Certification/License MA‑P credential may be accepted in lieu of MA‑R Current BLS Certification Recent bedside care experience in a health care environment Pay and Benefits Expectations Sign on bonus up to $5,000 for eligible new hires with 1+ years of experience as a CNA. Compensation range is $23.61 - $39.01 USD, influenced by skill set, level of experience, and certifications.
