Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Active RN License required Certifications: - BLS - Epic experience required Must-Have: - Ability to care for COVID patients - Tobacco and fragrance-free facility Description: Schedule requirements include three 12-hour night shifts. Every other weekend is required. Candidates will be screened clinically to determine fit. If clinical standards are met, the candidate will proceed to the manager for a final decision. Manager will conduct interviews. Call requirements are none. Floating may be required as needed. Candidates may be asked to work during holidays as needed. The facility has a tobacco and fragrance-free policy. The daily patient census ranges from 4 to 8. The unit has 12 beds. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Patient age groups primarily include adults and geriatrics. Charting experience in Epic is heavily preferred. Patients may have varying diagnoses requiring comprehensive rehabilitation care. The nurse will be responsible for acute inpatient rehabilitation and related tasks. The position requires a variety of specialized nursing skills including but not limited to anticoagulation therapy, wound care, and pain management.
