Diagnostic Technologist – Outpatient

Schedule: 8-hour shift, 7:30 AM start time, may be scheduled on weekends

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements:

• Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT)
• Current CPR Certification
• California issued Fluoroscopy Permit
• Current ARRT licensure
• EPIC EMR experience
• Previous traveler experience preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Position patients for imaging procedures of the chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, or ankle.
• Perform imaging procedures independently, operate X-ray equipment, process images, and document into PACS.
• Provide basic patient care under the supervision of the clinic nurse, including obtaining vital signs, placing patients in exam rooms, and preparing patients for clinician evaluation.
• Assist clinicians and may perform selected procedures as defined in the Patient Care Standards Manual.
• Ensure the work area is orderly and well-stocked with supplies and equipment.
• Float to main radiology as needed.
