Material Handler / Warehouse Associate – 2nd Shift – $19.98/Hour

Location: Morgantown, WV
Pay: $19.98 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM or until work is completed
Overtime: Mandatory overtime, including Saturdays as needed
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Shift: 2nd Shift

Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for a Material Handler / Warehouse Associate position with an established medical supply distribution operation in Morgantown, WV.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a 2nd shift warehouse job in Morgantown with competitive pay and the opportunity to learn and operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers .

• $19.98 per hour

• Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM or until finished

• Mandatory overtime is required

• Overtime may include Saturdays

• During overtime, associates may work as late as 1:00 AM

• Schedule and overtime needs are communicated in advance when possible

• Pick, pack, stock, and stage warehouse orders

• Unload incoming trucks and organize inventory

• Build and prepare pallets for shipment

• Use RF scanners to locate and process products

• Verify product numbers, lot numbers, quantities, labels, and shipping paperwork

• Stock materials in designated warehouse locations

• Follow FIFO inventory procedures

• Load and unload trucks

• Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment

• Enter inventory transactions into computer systems

• Perform equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse work area

• Assist with physical inventory counts

• Follow all safety, quality, and productivity procedures

Material handling equipment (MHE) experience is preferred. Experience with a stand-up forklift, reach truck, cherry picker, or other powered industrial equipment is a plus.

Candidates with limited experience may be considered if they are dependable, willing to learn, comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and able to successfully complete equipment training.

Important: Employees may begin by picking orders, unloading trucks, stocking, and performing other warehouse duties before operating powered equipment independently.

Cherry picker operation may require working at heights of up to 32 feet while wearing a required safety harness .

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred/required

• At least 1 month of related warehouse experience or training preferred

• Previous warehouse, material handler, distribution, inventory, shipping/receiving, or forklift experience is a plus

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Dependable attendance and punctuality

• Ability to work overtime when required

• Safety-conscious and willing to follow established procedures

• Comfortable learning multiple warehouse functions and rotating between work areas

• Steel-toe shoes required

This is an active warehouse position that may require:

• Standing and walking for extended periods

• Repetitive hand and finger movements

• Picking, handling, and organizing products

• Using warehouse equipment and scanners

• Working around forklifts and other material handling equipment

• Performing repetitive warehouse tasks safely and efficiently
