Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time contract position offers the chance to serve students ages 3-21 across a manageable group of campuses within a designated zone. You’ll conduct assessments, deliver targeted interventions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure every student thrives.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Texas OT license required
• Previous experience in a school setting highly preferred
• Open to exceptional COTAs with extensive school-based backgrounds
• Familiarity with school health software (e.g., SHARES, Onward) a plus
• Ability to adapt between consults and direct treatment models
• Strong communication and organization skills
• District policy does not permit consideration of former employees

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of approximately 70 students, focusing on 30-40 for direct services
• Provide OT evaluation, intervention, and consultative support for students ages 3–21
• Participate actively in ARD meetings and contribute to IEP development
• Maintain documentation in SHARES/Onward, with thorough tracking in Excel
• Deliver services on-site, rotating among 6–7 schools within your assigned zone
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Serve as the lead OT without COTA support
