Facilities Technician II

Job TitleThe Facilities Technician will complete general maintenance and repair work, as well as help fix and maintain machines, mechanical equipment, and buildings. They may paint, repair flooring, and work on plumbing, electrical, network, phone, and air-conditioning and heating systems.Essential DutiesMaintain, repair & upgrade the physical condition of propertiesPrioritize and perform service requests in a timely mannerPerform regular inspections of the propertyInteract with a wide range of people and be personable and trustworthyBasic working knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and refurbishingMust be willing to perform any task that is required (i.e., janitorial, gardening, etc.)Service appliances, equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, etc.Install Shop Air Drops, Electrical Drops, and Network DropsRoutine pest control maintenanceComply with applicable environmental, health and safety laws and regulations, Company policy and accepted safe work practicesEducation and/or Experience Required3 years Facilities experienceBasic Reading, writing, and mathBasic working knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and refurbishingSelf-directed, well organized, and motivatedHigh attention to detailExcellent communication and teamwork skillsComputer proficiency (Excel, Word)Physical Demands While Performing the JobStanding for long periods of time, walking, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
