Electrician - Facilities Department 12 Month Position 2026-2027 School Year POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining all electrical equipment, appliances, systems and devices within the District. QUALIFICATIONS:

- Requires 2 to 5 years of job-related prior experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Post high school vocational training in electrical procedures preferred.
- Requires completion of Asbestos Awareness Program.
- Installs, repairs and maintains all electrical equipment, systems, and devices within the District.
- Installs, repairs and maintains all electrical door closers and fire alarm systems.
- Designs HVAC and electrical installation procedures.
- Installs, repairs and maintains emergency back-up systems.
- Installs, repairs and maintains all outdoor parking lots and security lighting.
- Installs, repairs and maintains the Districts AI Phone system.
- Assists in the fire code and life safety inspections including maintaining exit and emergency lights.
- Assists other maintenance personnel as needed.
- Serves as a substitute custodian as needed.
