Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact by supporting students from Transitional Kindergarten through 12th grade as a School Speech-Language Pathologist in a welcoming and collaborative district. This full-time contract opportunity is based onsite, serving a community of 3,650 students. As part of a diverse team, you’ll address a range of speech and language needs, from general education to moderate/severe, helping students unlock their communication potential and achieve academic success.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience in K-12 or pediatric settings preferred, particularly within schools
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to work independently and adapt to varied caseloads, ranging up to 60 students
- Previous experience with a range of disabilities and service delivery models is a plus
- Open to travel candidates seeking a new adventure in California
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and comprehensive assessments for students in grades TK-5 and 9-12
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with families and school staff
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students with mild to moderate/severe needs
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support student success
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
