Senior Accountant

Robert Half is partnered with a highly innovative New Orleans industrial services company in search of a dynamic Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will support the company’s accounting operations, driving alignment and efficiency within the accounting organization. This role encompasses the monthly close cycle, financial reporting, cost/project accounting, internal controls, and process improvements, utilizing ERP and other reporting software. Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Progressive experience working in public accounting firm or industrial services company.
• CPA license or eligibility highly desired.
• Strong knowledge and experience in cost accounting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to foster collaboration and build strong relationships.
• A results-driven mindset with a focus on improving performance, services, and outcomes.
• Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of industry trends and market competitors.
• Flexibility to take on responsibilities beyond the defined scope, as needed.
