As a Security Officer Plant Access in North Charleston SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location where you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and support daily operations through strong customer service and a role built on teamwork integrity and a caring culture you will contribute to a reliable and professional environment while making a meaningful impact each day.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents alarms equipment issues and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas shipping and receiving zones parking areas and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity unsecured access points and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor entry and exit activity at designated access points verify credentials when required and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas in accordance with site protocols.
• Support daily operations by completing incident reports maintaining accurate activity logs and communicating clearly with personnel regarding security-related concerns policy questions and/or site instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
