Introduction Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their small animal practice in Baltimore, Maryland. The hospital provides veterinary care for companion animals and is known for delivering personalized, high-quality care within a compassionate and collaborative environment. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering a supportive setting where clinicians can develop their skills while contributing to excellent patient care. Working Hours / Rota The role offers full-time or part-time flexibility. Hospital hours are Monday from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the hospital closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Role Description and Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care including wellness exams, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and end-of-life care. Responsibilities include examining patients, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, performing surgical and dental procedures, and communicating clearly with clients about preventative care and treatment options. The role also involves collaborating closely with the veterinary team and maintaining strong client relationships while delivering compassionate patient care. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Practice Details The hospital provides a range of services including wellness exams, diagnostic services, surgical procedures, dental care, laser therapy, and end-of-life care. The practice focuses on preventative medicine and early diagnosis, with diagnostic tools available to support effective treatment planning.
