The Health & Safety Coordinator supports the implementation, administration and continuous improvement of the site's Health & Safety Systems & Programs. This role works closely with operations, to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements while promoting a proactive safety culture through employee engagement, risk reduction, and continuous improvement. This role serves as a visible safety leader by conducting routine inspections & investigations, coordinating safety training, and assisting with corporate and plant Health & Safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure all associates meet plant safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Submit monthly safety reports to the Management Team.

Conduct routine safety audits for PPE, LOTO, housekeeping, and related areas.

Collaborate with the management team to update, maintain, and improve safety procedures.

Perform investigations and risk assessments as required.

Collect, implement, and analyze data, working with the team to identify trends and focus on key safety areas.

Partner with the management team to deliver safety training, meetings, and new-hire orientation.

Align communication between InnoSource and the customer regarding safety matters.

Possess knowledge in the following areas: confined spaces, hazardous communications, LOTO, electrical safety, industrial power vehicles, emergency response, emergency evacuation planning, hot work, heat stress, and stop-work authority.

Skills and Knowledge – Safety Coordinator

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Minimum of 2 years of safety experience preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance
• Conducting safety inspections and audits
• Incident and accident investigations
• Root-cause analysis
• Developing and delivering safety training
• Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
• Managing PPE programs
• Forklift safety operations
• Emergency response planning

Education and Experience – Safety Coordinator

Education

• High School Diploma required
• Associate's degree in occupational safety & health or relevant field preferred but not required

Experience

• 2 years of safety experience preferably in manufacturing preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $30–35 per hour, full-time, paid weekly
