Our therapies treat patients suffering from overactive bladder, non-obstructive urinary retention and fecal incontinence with our sacral neuromodulation (SNM) systems InterStim X️ and InterStim️ Micro; and our percutaneous tibial neuromodulation (PTNM) system NURO️. Our goal is to expand access to our therapies so we can help potentially millions of people get their lives backClick here to learn more about products.The Pelvic Health District Sales Manager will manage the district sales representative staff and achieve sales plan within specified budget. The District Sales Manager will also recruit, hire, develop, evaluate and retain district distribution personnel. The District Sales Manager will provide input to the Regional Business Director regarding sales strategies and plans.We are seeking a committed professional to join our team, required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver's license is essential for this role, which also includes travel outside the territory, presenting opportunities for broader engagement.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop sales goals and objectives for each territory on a fiscal and quarterly basisEnsure implementation of district sales training and sales support training strategiesProvide ongoing coaching, feedback and direction to Therapy Consultants on sales calls, presentations, etc., to improve technical and selling skillsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with all key account personnel within the district in order to support selling and service efforts and clinical programsConduct performance evaluation and salary reviews of field personnel and submit recommendations to appropriate managementRecruit, hire, develop, and retain field personnel for the district and insure that new staff receives appropriate orientation and trainingMaintain sales data and records on each territory in order to understand market trends, provide direction to the Therapy Consultants, and communicate competitive dataInterpret and explain business/marketing policies and programs to Therapy Consultants in order to maintain consistency and responsiveness to customer needsEffectively control and monitor selling expenses for the districtProvide input to the Regional Business Director on sales strategies, promotions, staffing needs, new product indications, and product acceptanceEnsure personal understanding of all quality policy/system items that are personally applicable. Follow all work/quality procedures to ensure quality system compliance and high quality workMust Have: Minimum Requirements 5+ years of medical sales experience to physicians, administrative staff, and payors with Bachelor’s Degree OR3+ years of medical sales experience to physicians, administrative staff, and payors with Master’s Degree3+ years of experience of progressive leadership experience providing work direction and leadership to people and teams3+ years of implantable or referral and therapy development sales experienceNice to Have:Experience reviewing and analyzing financial data, preparing business plans, and utilizing business consulting skillsExperience with fostering and creating a high performance culture that sustains high levels of performanceExperience actively engaging in the creation of an inclusive environment and promotion of a diverse workforceExperience recognizing, attracting, developing, engaging and retaining top talentExperience leading, communicating and delivering results that are at or above expectationsKnowledge of forecasting, developing and implementing district business plans and recognizing & responding to mid-range (12 months or more) issues with strategic impactExperience leveraging significant internal and external customer relationships at all levels and across functional areasMasters degree in business, science or humanitiesExperience working with economic buyers and managed careExperience motivating and being a role model for other sales repsExperience developing and sustaining a team environment and sales strategiesImplementation and/or development of marketing programs and marketsExperience negotiating contractsDemonstrated understanding of Pelvic Health business environmentProven track record of success in building a team environment and developing sales strategiesExcellent interpersonal communication and listening skills with the ability to articulate in both oral and written communicationKnowledge of the reimbursement climate, managed care, physiology/clinical therapies and/or implantable devicesAdditional Job Requirements:The physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
