Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist – Multispecialty

Location: Plainview, TX
Duration: 13 Weeks (Potential for Extension)
Schedule: Day Shift | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Compensation: $2,700 – $3,400 Weekly (Based on Experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Multispecialty Ultrasound Technologist to join a dynamic diagnostic imaging team. This role requires proficiency across multiple ultrasound modalities, including General, OB/Fetal, Breast, Vascular, and Cardiac Imaging. The ideal candidate will be skilled in performing a broad range of diagnostic procedures while delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining the highest standards of image quality.

ResponsibilitiesDiagnostic Imaging

• Perform high-quality general ultrasound examinations, including:
  • Abdominal studies
  • Small parts imaging
  • Breast ultrasound
  • Transvaginal ultrasound
  • Obstetric and fetal imaging
• Conduct vascular ultrasound procedures, including arterial and venous Doppler studies.
• Perform echocardiography examinations, including:
  • Adult Echocardiograms
  • Contrast Echocardiograms
  • Stress Echocardiography

Patient Care

• Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures.
• Explain examination processes and provide patient education.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout all imaging procedures.
• Monitor patients and respond appropriately to clinical concerns during examinations.

Equipment & Quality Assurance

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment.
• Ensure optimal image quality and adherence to imaging protocols.
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection prevention, and quality assurance standards.

Documentation & Collaboration

• Accurately document procedures and imaging findings.
• Transfer and manage images within PACS and other imaging systems.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, radiologists, cardiologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives.

On-Call Responsibilities

• Participate in weekday evening on-call coverage.
• Provide 24-hour weekend on-call support as required.
• Respond promptly to emergent imaging needs.

Required QualificationsCertifications

• ARDMS, ARDMS-VT, CCI, or RDCS Certification required.
• Current BLS Certification required.

Experience

• Recent experience in:
  • General Ultrasound
  • OB/Fetal Imaging
  • Breast Ultrasound
  • Transvaginal Ultrasound
  • Vascular Ultrasound
  • Adult Echocardiography
  • Contrast Echocardiography
  • Stress Echocardiography
• Strong technical, organizational, and patient care skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
