We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Recruiter to join our client's growing Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you will play a key part in identifying, engaging, and supporting candidates throughout the hiring process while helping build strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.Responsibilities:Review resumes and applications to evaluate candidate qualifications against job requirements.Conduct initial candidate screenings via phone, video, or email to assess experience, interest, and overall fit.Document screening results and maintain accurate candidate records within the ATS.Coordinate with Talent Acquisition Partners to advance qualified candidates through the interview process.Create, post, and manage job advertisements across company career sites and external job boards.Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, professional networks, referrals, and other recruiting channels.Build and maintain talent pipelines for ongoing and future hiring needs.Engage passive candidates through creative outreach strategies and relationship-building efforts.Provide an exceptional candidate experience through timely communication, professionalism, and consistent follow-up.Communicate hiring process updates and next steps to candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle.Ensure recruiting activities, documentation, and candidate data remain accurate, organized, and compliant with company standards.Partner with Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, and hiring managers to support hiring initiatives and meet staffing goals.Assist with recruitment projects, hiring events, and process improvement initiatives as needed.Essential Skills:1+ years of experience in recruiting, staffing, customer service, sales, administrative support, or a related field preferred.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.Ability to effectively engage with candidates, hiring teams, and internal stakeholders.Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.Experience reviewing resumes and assessing candidate qualifications.Knowledge of recruiting, sourcing, or talent acquisition best practices.Proficiency using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting technologies.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or other candidate sourcing platforms preferred.Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, or recruiting software is a plus.Prior experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, customer-facing roles, sales, or staffing environments is highly preferred.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams.Comfortable using digital communication tools, virtual meeting platforms, and online recruiting technologies.Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.High level of professionalism, discretion, and customer service orientation.Work Environment:This is a fully remote position operating Monday through Friday during standard business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). The role is highly collaborative and technology-driven, utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems, job boards, sourcing platforms, video conferencing tools, and other recruiting technologies to support daily responsibilities.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $29.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
