Clerk-Inventory Control (Shipping Receiving)

Job Description The Inventory Control Clerk (Shipping/Receiving) at Fab 4 in Gresham, Oregon supports factory operations by receiving, stocking, and delivering parts and supplies while maintaining accurate electronic and hard‑copy inventory records. The position is scheduled for 1st shift, Monday‑Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. Responsibilities Receive, stock, and pull parts and raw materials according to established procedures, ensuring FIFO compliance. Cycle count inventory of spare parts; inventory raw materials such as gases and chemicals. Update or modify spare part and raw material information. Process and review inventory purchase orders (PIOs) for accuracy. Record inventory data accurately in computer systems. Operate lifting devices such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Prepare product shipments for internal and external customers. Coordinate with Supply Management to expedite parts, reorder low stock, and repair parts shipments. Qualifications High school diploma or GED with minimum 2years of work experience. Customer service oriented; works well independently and as part of a team. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with MS Office and data entry. Valid driver’s license for off‑site material transport. Preferred: Warehouse/shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing setting. Preferred: Baan/ERP system experience. Physical Requirements Unassisted: routinely lift/carry/push/pull objects up to 25lb; frequently lift up to 65lb; occasionally up to 75lb or team‑lift 75‑125lb. Assisted with pallet jack/fork truck: lift objects exceeding 1,000lb. Work: 40% sitting, 30% standing, 30% walking. Perform repetitive motions; climb ladders, stairs, or stools. Fine manipulations (typing) and use of hands, neck, eyes, hearing, and vision. Exposed to moving machinery, temperature, humidity, and noise. This is a safety‑sensitive position.
