Job Title: RN Operating Room

Location: Castro Valley, CA

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Mid 5x8-Hour (15:00 - 23:30)

Requirements:

ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, covid card - required & PALS, TNCC, CNOR - preferred

Must have active CA state RN license.

Must have 3 years of RN OR experience, along with 1 year of travel experience is required.

EMR: EPIC

Specialized in: General, Ortho, Vascular, Trauma, Neuro

Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics

Patient ratios-

nights - 1:1

days - 1:6

weekends - 1:1

ON CALL: As Needed
Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend

Job Duties:
Plans, manages and coordinates the professional nursing care delivered to surgical patients; provides specialized care and treatment; directs and supervises the ancillary nursing personnel; works in collaboration with all members of the health team; scrubs or circulates surgical cases; maintains AORN standards of professional nursing practice.

- Ability to work with bodily fluids and substances
- Contact with patients under a wide variety of circumstances
- Handles emergency or crisis situations
Subject to varying and unpredictable situations.
