Part-time Accounts Payable Specialist

Accounts Payable SpecialistWe use our craft to inspire action and create measurable good in the world, bridging the gap between belief and behavior.We are hiring a Part-time Accounts Payable Specialist. We need someone who is detail oriented and very organized. Accounts Payable experience is requested. Days and hours may be flexible, but person would be expected to work 24-28 hours a week. The role is part of the corporate accounting group and reports to the company's Corporate Controller.Job Responsibilities:Responsible for all accounting work that is necessary to ensure accounts payable is processed in an efficient and timely mannerProper coding of vendor invoices, expense reports, purchasing cards and other similar itemsAssist in correspondence with vendors and evaluating and reconciling all vendor statementsProcess and review of all expense reports and purchase cards, ensuring compliance with company polices and the proper coding for entry into the financial systemScanning and indexing of invoices and relevant back up documentationAssist in setting up new vendors and managing vendor changesWork as a liaison between vendors and internal departments to facilitate the timely approval and payment of vendor invoicesAssist in the client invoicing processAssist with other accounting tasks as neededRequirements:At least one year of experienceStrong experience/knowledge of Excel and other computer applicationsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsEffective team player who interacts well with othersAbility to work under pressure and meet or exceed deadlinesAbility to multi-taskBonneville Communication Corporation is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
