Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT in New Albany, MS. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while exploring a new location.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Mississippi OT license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience in outpatient settings preferred.
• Ability to manage caseloads independently and document in electronic medical records preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience treating adult orthopedic and post-surgical populations preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 0800-1630.
• Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
• Meal Break: 30 minutes.
• 40 hours per week.

Impacting Patient Care Nationwide

Join as an occupational therapist and provide direct patient care in an outpatient environment. You will support patients through evidence-based interventions, functional task training, and adaptive equipment recommendations. Documentation and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams are required to ensure continuity of care.
