Position InformationHiring Manager:DirectorDepartment:Private Wealth AmericasDepartment OverviewThe Private Wealth Americas (“PWA”) Team is a component of the Investor Partners Group (“IPG”) that is responsible for the equity and debt fundraising activities of the Firm. PWA focuses on delivering compelling investment solutions and gold-standard client service to the private wealth market via wirehouses, regional broker-dealers, private banks, registered investment advisors and other intermediaries. PWA oversees sales and marketing, business development, relationship management and business operations specific to the private wealth channel in North and South America. The team collaborates closely with other departments to develop and execute fundraising and client service initiatives in line with the Firm’s objectives.Position Responsibilities The candidate will work closely with PWA’s external sales team to support the distribution of Golub Capital’s products.Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Partnering with external wholesalers to support business development efforts and drive sales activity across wirehouses, broker-dealers and RIAsConducting outbound sales calls, email campaigns and virtual meetings with advisors to generate leads and identify sales opportunitiesSourcing and qualifying new advisor relationships while supporting the expansion of existing client relationshipsAssisting external wholesalers with pipeline management, meeting preparation, follow-up activities and ongoing relationship managementDeveloping and maintaining a strong understanding of Golub Capital’s product offerings and competitive positioningMaintaining accurate pipeline, meeting and prospect information within the Firm’s CRMDelivering Gold Standard client service to prospects and clientsCandidate RequirementsQualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree required2+ years of experience in an internal wholesaler, sales support or business development role within asset managementExperience with wirehouse, broker-dealer and RIA sales channels is requiredUnderstanding of alternative investments and / or private credit preferredExperience working within a CRM databaseExcellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skillsDemonstrated ability to effectively leverage AI tools in day-to-day work, with strong critical thinking to assess accuracy, limitations and appropriate use of AI generated outputsAbility to multi-task, problem solve and adapt to changing prioritiesClient-centric approach, dedicated to delivering outstanding client experiences and solutionsAbility to work in a team-oriented sales environment where information sharing and collaboration are essential for successAbility to maintain exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environmentSeries 7 and Series 63 requiredEnthusiastic about working in office and creating a Gold Standard hybrid work cultureCritical Competencies for SuccessOur Gold Standards define key behaviors and competencies across 4 dimensions: Leadership, Achieving Results, Personal Effectiveness and Thinking Critically. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experiences and qualifications for the role. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
