Work Location & Shifts: 1120 Industrial Ave, North Platte, NE

2nd Shift 5:00pm-3:30am Monday -Thursday

Pay: The hourly pay rate range for this position is 22.55 + shift differential and benefits. Base pay will vary within the range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is specific to North Platte and may not be applicable to other locations.

What your day in this role might involve at OC-North Platte:

Responsibilities

Assembler will be working on assigned production line and will be required to follow SOP for specific job assignment. Measure, cut and assemble door units.Assist a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed. Works under immediate supervision.

• Verify materials being used is correct by reading the bill of materials
• Ensure materials meet quality expectations
• Palletize, wrap, and label units as needed
• Assembles fabricated parts to relatively large or heavy subassemblies and complete units
• Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
• Verifies that components are being placed in the correct position per SOP
• Repeats tasks until entire door stack is complete
• Cleans up work area when shift ends

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Other duties as assigned

• Must be familiar with machinery and have good math and measurement skills.
• Must have knowledge of proper door sizes, as well as what a reject door looks like.
• Must read and write English.
• Must have good attendance and safety records.
• Must demonstrate solid teamwork abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• This position requires high attention to detail.

There are some essential physical requirements specific to our work environment, including being able to:

• Stand for 10 - 12 hours straight
• Do repetitive movements (hand, arm, leg; bending and twisting at the waist; bending at the knee; squatting; lift, push and pull 60-pounds)
• Withstand exposure to temperature extremes; sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable
