About the Position
Job Title: Patient Care Technician Profession: PCT Specialty: Float Pool | Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Not required Certifications: BLS (AHA) Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A) via NHA Must-Have: BLS (AHA) CPCT/A certification Description: The position entails providing direct patient care and support within a telemetry setting. Responsibilities include monitoring patient vital signs and assisting nursing staff with daily routines. A strong focus on patient safety and comfort is essential. Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are necessary. Teamwork and collaboration with healthcare professionals are key components of this role. Candidates should possess a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
