Requirements
- Valid degree in speech-language pathology
- New York State licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Plan and participate in rehabilitative programs and recommend additional services as needed.
- Conduct special education assessments and present findings related to speech and language issues.
- Select, recommend, and teach alternative communication systems as necessary.
- Conduct and present research related to speech and language difficulties.

Compliance / Notes
- Background check and fingerprinting required prior to start.
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical exemptions only).
- Returning staff must have been away from any state facility for 2 years.
