Injection Molding Process Technician Location: Tolleson, AZ Type: Full-time, Night Shift Join us at Landscape Products Inc. as an Injection Molding Process Technician . This is your opportunity to play a critical role in the manufacturing process, ensuring our products meet quality standards while continuously improving operational efficiency. THIS IS A NIGHT SHIFT POSITION 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 PM Key Responsibilities Set up and operate injection molding machines to produce high-quality parts efficiently Troubleshoot injection molding equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and maintain production flow Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to prevent downtime. Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications and standards Troubleshoot material handling equipment Assist in the setup and calibration of manufacturing machinery. Monitor production processes and adjust as necessary to maintain optimal performance. Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and product quality. Conduct regular inspections and tests of products to ensure they meet quality standards. Document and report any deviations or defects found during inspections. Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures. Identify and troubleshoot equipment and process issues. Work with engineers and maintenance staff to resolve technical problems. Suggest and implement solutions to prevent recurrence of issues. Maintain accurate records of production activities, equipment maintenance, and process changes. Prepare reports on equipment performance, production metrics, and quality issues. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding process status and issues. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct other duties as assigned by management. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds). Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination. Leadership & Communication Conduct yourself with professionalism in all communication with fellow employees, management, and Field Support Center staff. Attend and participate in scheduled meetings. Communicate all operational issues with the Manager Business Development Maintain a strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with machinery. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Continue to stay proficient with basic hand and power tools. Qualifications Must be willing to cover other shifts as needed High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in plastics or manufacturing technology is a plus. 1-3 years of experience in injection molding or related field. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills with injection molding machinery. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production specifications. Basic understanding of quality control principles and practices. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
