Billing Specialist

We are currently seeking a hospitality minded full-time billing specialist.
Candidates must have a desire to join a great team dedicated to providing outstanding care and service to our residents.
Responsibilities and duties:
Essential job duties:
- Compiles and inputs data into the computer for resident billing.
- Performs insurance verifications as necessary.
- Compiles and inputs data into the computer for assigned areas of billing.
- Follows up on all account receivables to insure aging accounts are collected.
- Sets up new payor sources as necessary.
- Runs necessary reports. Maintains backup and support documents.
- Maintains ledgers and storage binders in an orderly fashion.
- Posts payments to the receivable.
- Files paperwork.
- Assists accounting supervisor & director with accounting duties, as assigned.
