Material Handler - 1st ShiftMetals USA has an immediate opening for a Material Handler - 1st Shift in our Waggaman, LA facility. The Material Handler - 1st shift works under limited supervision, performing duties related to the storage and movement of inventory or equipment. Must be capable of lifting wt. up to forty (40) lbs. with or without lifting devices.Working Conditions:Employee will work in an open warehouse the majority (98%) of the time and will be exposed to some or all of the following working conditions: extreme heat and cold, noise, vibration, oils and atmospheric conditions such as dust, fumes and metallic particles. Employee will be exposed to the hazards of working with heavy machinery. Employee is required to wear a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves and safety boots.
