Trading Assistant, Hedge Fund

Provide support to traders and portfolio managers, assisting with trade execution, order management, allocations, bookings, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions. Monitor trading activity, positions, and P&L throughout the day, proactively identifying discrepancies, breaks, and execution issues and working directly with traders to resolve them. Manage the trade lifecycle from execution through settlement, coordinating with brokers, counterparties, prime brokers, and internal Operations teams to ensure trades are accurately captured and settled. Support portfolio and trading activity, including cash and position monitoring, corporate actions, financing activity, and other time-sensitive events impacting the portfolio. Serve as a key liaison between the trading desk and internal teams, including Operations, Risk, Technology, and Finance, while identifying opportunities to improve trading workflows, controls, and desk efficiency.
