Loan Servicing Representative

Position Summary:

The Loan Servicing Representative I is responsible for supporting the servicing and maintenance of consumer and residential loans after closing. This role handles loan record updates, collateral tracking, insurance monitoring, payment processing, loan payoffs, and customer service inquiries. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with loan documentation, servicing systems, and customers.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 1 year of banking, loan servicing, loan operations, lending support, or related experience
Strong data entry and administrative processing skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PC applications
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Good organizational and time management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality of customer information
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

Consumer loan servicing experience
Residential mortgage servicing experience
Loan operations or loan administration experience
Experience working with core banking or loan servicing systems
Knowledge of loan collateral documentation
Experience with insurance tracking and loan maintenance functions
Familiarity with credit bureau disputes and loan payoff processing
Understanding of banking compliance and lending regulations
