Floating Patient Service Specialist
On site, M-F 8-4:30pm

**Mileage is not reimbursed**
6 months of experience required.
A PSS in this role will be exposed to a variety of clinic settings and may be placed permanently if a clinic is a good fit and a need arises.
Candidate will receive a text at 7:15 am to let them know where to report day-of.

Required Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of Experience in medical/healthcare setting.
- 1 year in a customer service role.
- Prior experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion.
General Duties: - Provide effective and efficient front office services to patients for all ambulatory/outpatient departments serving a large hospital system Thurston & Lewis Counties.
- Coordinate internal and external clinic phone communications among staff, patients, and providers; accurately collect records and ensure distribution to appropriate staff via computer and/or manual systems; perform clerical, scheduling, and records activities in support of patients and staff. Participates as a fully engaged member of the care team, by demonstrated commitment to service and compassion for the patients of Providence and their families.
