Inside Sales RepresentativeThe responsibility of the Inside Sales Representative is to grow revenue by managing inbound and outbound sales activity from within the office, focusing on both existing account growth and new customer acquisition. The ISR's goal is to meet sales targets, respond quickly to customer inquiries, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Customer Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients over phone, email, and chatBe proactive in addressing the needs and concerns of clientsFoster long-term partnerships and repeat businessSales Strategy & ExecutionExecute outbound calling and email campaigns to generate new businessSet and achieve sales goals, coordinating with the Sales Manager/DirectorIdentify new business opportunities within assigned accounts or lead listsMarket & Product KnowledgeMaintain up-to-date knowledge of product catalog, pricing, and availabilityIdentify competitors and gather competitive information on pricing and productsAnalyze customer needs and recommend appropriate products/solutionsIdentify upsell and cross-sell opportunities with existing customersReporting & ForecastingMonitor personal and team sales activity/reports and provide feedback to managementForecast sales performance for assigned accounts or lead pipelineIdentify areas for improvement in process or performanceProblem SolvingAddress customer issues (orders, shipping, billing, returns) timelyFind solutions to problems, no matter how complex, escalating when necessaryNegotiationIdentify customer needs and how our products solve their issuesNegotiate pricing and terms within approved guidelinesIdentify customer budget and find mutually beneficial price pointsAccount PlanningDevelop and manage account plans for assigned customersActively prospect and call on potential customersNurture and convert inbound leads quicklyMinimum Requirements:Ability to work primarily from an office/desk-based environment, handling high call/email volumeExcellent oral and written communication skills - must enjoy speaking with people and building rapport over the phoneProficiency in Microsoft Suite of products, and experience with CRM softwareExcellent time management and organizational skillsAbility to multitask across phone, email, and order systems simultaneouslyOther Desired Qualities:Strong problem-solving skillsAdaptableCustomer-focus attitudePrior inside sales, call center, or customer service experience a plus
