The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Biology and Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston are seeking a per diem Academic Specialist in General OB/GYN. From family planning and pregnancy to intimate health and menopause, our team includes specialists in all areas of obstetrics and gynecology.The ideal candidate will demonstrate a history of activity and commitment to the academic mission including teaching and leadership in resident and medical student education. An academic appointment will be made at the Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor level at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. We have an active full scope general gynecological surgical practice; our generalists perform major gynecological surgeries and are supported by faculty from the Complex Benign Gynecology (formerly MIGS) Division for more complex cases.A peer mentoring program focuses on supporting early career faculty.
