Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher supporting students near Lebanon, NH for the 2026-2027 academic year. Full-time contract positions are available at both the elementary and high school levels, with opportunities to help empower learners with diverse needs from August 2026 through June 2027.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching certification for New Hampshire (or eligibility to obtain)
- Professional experience in special education settings, preferably at the elementary or high school level
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and goal tracking
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with staff, families, and service providers
- Skilled in differentiated instruction and behavioral management
- Ability to create a supportive classroom environment that fosters student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging, individualized lesson plans to address students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Develop, monitor, and revise Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned caseload
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers and related service providers
- Maintain accurate student records and documentation as required by school and district policies
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and staff development activities
- Foster an inclusive and positive learning atmosphere supportive of all students
This is a full-time contract opportunity, Monday through Friday, with 32-37.5 hours each week, ideal for professionals looking to positively influence the lives of students in a vibrant school community. Stay tuned for more specific details on these roles as information becomes available.
