Patient Registration Specialist

Job Overview Seeking energetic, upbeat, collaborative person to join our patient services team at Workfit Medical – a leading provider of occupational medical services. Must be able to multi‑task, focus on detail, and work in a high volume, varied role. The patient services representative handles front desk administrative tasks to complete accurate registrations for each visit, answers incoming calls, schedules patient visits and sends follow up paperwork to clients. Must be willing to work weekends and evenings. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist with check‑in/check‑out of patients Register patients in electronic medical record (EMR) and update as needed Schedule appointments Answer multiple incoming phone lines Scan documents in EMR Verify insurance and collect payments Perform all tasks associated with discharge of patient including forwarding paperwork to employers as needed Skills and Qualifications Excellent customer and computer skills Past EMR experience preferred Ability to read and write, computer proficiency, high school graduate, medical office experience preferred EEO Statement WorkFit Medical, LLC is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected status or characteristic.
