You might be just who we are looking for!Job Duties and Responsibilities:Active role in deconstructing electronic componentsTranslate hands on experience to find technological solutions to improve processes and proceduresSupport development by designing fixtures, software, and/or non-traditional techniquesMake technical decisions based on skills and training in the use of test equipment and associated systemsNotify and discuss technical problems with engineering personnel, contractors, or other government representatives as necessaryRequired Qualifications:Vocational/technical training beyond high school in electronics or related field0-1 year of experience working with electronics componentsHands-on experience with handling and testing small parts, such as microelectronicsKnowledge of electronic components and device operating characteristicsPrior experience with Ionizing radiation safety and handling per DOD guidelines.Understanding and utilization of laboratory safety practices, including chemical safetyAbility to work on a multidisciplinary team and engage with technicians, scientists, and engineersKnowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPointStrong written communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.Ability to identify and support opportunities for process improvements through fixture design and integrating new techniquesMust be able to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance. Please note US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.Preferred Qualifications:2- or 4-year degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or Electronics Technology2-3 years of experience working with electronics componentsActive Secret ClearanceProficient with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPointExperience in laboratory environments, including operation of microscopes and other analytical equipmentBasic knowledge of microelectronic construction and materialsCompensation Details:$65,000-$95,000The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
