Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews.
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions via analysis of imaging studies and laboratory results.
• Work in tandem with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans.
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including sterilization of operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and securing surgical instruments during procedures.
• Deliver exceptional pre- and post-operative care, covering medication management, wound treatment, planning for discharge, and educating patients.

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program is required.
• Preferably, completion of clinical rotations with a surgical focus.

Certifications Required

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS is mandatory.
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant.
