Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) located in Hickory, North Carolina. This position involves caring for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses such as post-stroke, neuro surgeries, telemetry cases, and medical patients. The role requires working night shifts with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care within the neuro and telemetry units of the healthcare provider.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar clinical setting, certifications as needed for neuro/stroke care or telemetry, and must meet the location requirement of being at least 60 miles from the facility's address
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro patient populations, telemetry, and adult/geriatric care; familiarity with Electronic Health Record systems such as Cerner
• Additional Information:
  • Unit comprises 20 beds with a patient ratio of 5:1
  • The role involves caring for stable post-stroke, neuro surgery, telemetry, and medical patients
  • Dress code: Scrubs, any color acceptable
