Auto Title Clerk

Join ABS Tag & Title as an Auto Title Clerk and be the backbone of our operations! In this role, you will prepare vehicle title and registration documents, manage and update inventory records, process transactions, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. You will also work closely with Department of Motor Vehicle representatives, state agencies, customers, and internal teams while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.Duties and Responsibilities:Transfer data from paper formats into digital files or databases using a keyboard.Verify accuracy by comparing with source documents.Process registration for new and used vehicles in their respective states, ensuring all applications are complete and accurate.Submit legal registration work to the Department of Motor Vehicles while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with regulations.Communicate with customers and state agencies regarding inquiries, and adapt daily work to changing demands.Maintain up-to-date records, manage paperwork for title transfers, and assist with other administrative tasks as needed.Required Skills and Abilities:Previous clerical or office experience preferredBasic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, data entry)Attention to detail with accuracy when managing multiple tasksProfessional communication skills (verbal and written)Essential customer service skills focus and interpersonal skillsGood organizational skills, prioritize tasks, and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamEducation and Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) (required)Associate degree preferred or equivalent work experience2 years of previous office and customer service experienceAbility to work in a fast-pace environment while maintaining accuracyOther Requirements:Must be able to operate standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, and telephones.Will consistently work in a well-illuminated and temperature-controlled office setting.The role requires sitting for roughly 90 percent of the day, with the remaining time spent walking, standing, bending, squatting, or lifting up to 15 pounds at a time.Work Schedule and Benefits:Full-Time 8-hour Day Shift; Monday to FridayEligibility for benefits from day one: health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance401(k) matchingPaid Time Off (PTO)How to Apply:For consideration, applicants must submit:A current resume reflecting employment historyComplete responses to all application questions #J-18808-Ljbffr
