OVERVIEW:

The Pre-Construction Estimator/Specialist plays a key role in developing accurate and competitive pricing by reviewing project specifications, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers and generating detailed estimates and proposals.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Estimator will be crucial to the business by aiding in the pricing of services to offer customers the best solution. We are looking for a team member who is a self-starter, excels at building relationships, and enjoys quantitative problem-solving.

• Review specification and drawings
• Solicit pricing from subcontractors and equipment suppliers and follow up to obtain written quotes.
• Attend preconstruction site visits (when applicable)
• Assist with detailed estimates and proposals.
• Provide clear documentation on estimates and proposals.
• Provide accurate estimates and proposals.
• Partner closely with our sales ,operations and engineering teams to assist with the best solutions and pricing.
• Assist with the selection of contractors.
• Participate in Monthly project review meetings

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of Sales and/ or HVAC experience
• Strong skills in written and oral communication, organization, and time management

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described are representative of those an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.

• This involves frequent sitting and computer use.
• Occasional standing, walking, and reaching.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders and stairs and navigate job sites to survey equipment.
• Work may require performing duties outdoors in various weather conditions and exposure to dust, dirt, common allergens, or refrigerants.
