This role involves creating innovative solutions to technical challenges, providing system support with automation, modern tools, and overseeing projects to ultimately deliver the end product.Position Responsibilities:Leads Ground and System Level verification, validation, integration and testLeads the planning, organization, implementation of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity and technology readinessApplies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, and develop requirementsDevelops and executes test plans, procedures, and verification reportsResolves cross-functional technical issuesEvaluates customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfacesPerforms various analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture supporting mission successWrites requirements and ICDs for the ground systemsSupports ConOps development and product design, development, and testDevelops Ground Segment Operational Products in support of Space based systemsSupports complex system level threads required to run missions in spaceWorks with a team of engineers using scaled agile development processEngages in model-based systems engineeringLeads, mentors, and trains othersThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed locations.This worksite participates in Boeing's 9/80 schedule rotation. 9/80 is a rotation in which employees can work 9 hour shifts, 8 days per pay period (bi-weekly) and receive every other Friday off.This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience:Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statementTypically, 14 or more years' related work experiencePossess an active Top Secret US Security Clearance (TS), or successfully complete a Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the past 5 years or agreed to enter a Continuous Vetting program such that 5 year updates are no longer requiredPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Excellent oral and written Communication, Adaptability, Decision Making, Customer Focus, Integrated Systems, Engineering Analysis, and Requirements/Tracing skillsetExperience in space systems and working with multi-discipline teamsExperience with Ops Product architecture, design, development, and testExperience with software requirements verification testingExperience with scripting languages (i.e. Python, Tcl/Tk)Experience with Configuration Management tools and processesExperience with Scaled Agile Framework processes and toolsRelocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
