SAP, a global leader in enterprise software, is seeking a highly skilled Principal Solution Advisor - Tax Domain Expert to join our innovative team. This senior-level role is critical in driving bookings, generating demand, and ensuring consumption and adoption of SAP's advanced Tax solutions. As a trusted advisor, you will engage C-level executives and senior stakeholders, align SAP's Tax offerings with complex customer business and technology needs, and deliver measurable outcomes, including net bookings, demand growth, renewals, and long-term customer relationships. This role is essential to advancing SAP's strategic objectives and reinforcing our leadership in tax software and supporting enterprise business growth.

What you'll do:

• Lead high-impact 1:1 and 1:M (one-to-many) demand generation initiatives, including targeted executive briefings, workshops, and events to build a robust pipeline for SAP Tax solutions.
• Spearhead first-time meetings with C-level stakeholders (e.g., CFOs, CIOs, and VPs of Tax) to establish trust, articulate SAP's value proposition, and align Tax solutions with customer priorities.
• Qualify high-potential deals and expertly guide them through the sales cycle, leveraging 1:1 and 1:M strategies to secure closures and maximize revenue.
• Foster strong post-sale relationships with customers to ensure successful adoption of SAP Tax solutions, driving long-term satisfaction and expansion opportunities.
• Design and deliver Value Exploration Workshops and Tax-focused sessions to showcase SAP's capabilities through demonstrations and "art of the possible" presentations to address customer pain points.
• Provide thought leadership at industry events and internal account planning sessions.
• Collaborate with account teams to align SAP Tax solutions with customer business strategies, addressing complex tax requirements including improving quality of financial data, accelerating the financial close for tax organizations, automation of tax processes, and helping provide tax insights to make companies more competitive.
• Challenge customers with innovative perspectives, teach best practices, and pitch Tax process optimizations to drive transformation and inspire proactive growth.
• Serve as a "go-to" expert with a strong personal brand, coaching and mentoring sales teams and junior Solution Advisors. Contribute to Voice of the Field initiatives to shape SAP's Tax product and go-to-market strategies.
• Drive measurable outcomes across revenue, renewals, and customer adoption, ensuring a lasting impact on SAP's Tax solution portfolio.

What you bring:

• 10+ years in enterprise software sales, solution advisory, or consulting related to corporate Tax including Direct Tax, Indirect Tax, Statutory Filings, e-invoicing, and other international tax fields with a proven track record of engaging C-level executives and driving multi-million-dollar deals.
• Deep knowledge of tax processes: direct tax, indirect tax, sales & use tax, international tax, statutory filings, e-invoicing, transfer pricing, and other related areas.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex Tax solutions to diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address customer challenges and align solutions with strategic goals.
• Proven leadership in coaching, mentoring, and teaching sales teams or peers.
• Ability to deliver compelling workshops, events, and pitches that inspire action.
• Established personal brand as a trusted advisor in the Tax domain.
• Proactive, innovative mindset with a passion for challenging the status quo.
• Collaborative team player with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proven experience with SAP Tax solutions or comparable enterprise tax software.
• Ability to master SAP's business architecture is critical.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Willingness to travel 25%50% for customer engagements, events, and internal meetings.
