Travel Occupational Therapist Opportunity

Make a meaningful difference as a travel occupational therapist. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate occupational therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location in Arlington, MA. This opportunity is in a skilled nursing facility and supports patient-centered care across rehabilitative and long-term care settings.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active MA Occupational Therapy state license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience providing occupational therapy in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
• Experience with ADL training, adaptive equipment recommendations, and therapeutic interventions for geriatric populations preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel therapy experience preferred.
• Documentation experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 08:00 - 16:30.
• Work Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
• Meal break: 30 minutes.
• Guaranteed weekly hours: 35.

Provide skilled occupational therapy services that support functional independence and quality of life for residents. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, document progress, and communicate with families and caregivers to ensure continuity of care.
